PostScript Interface enables the conversion of illustration graphics andassociated annotation from Series 5 to PostScript-compatiblepublishing systems. Drawings (raster, vector, or composite) can be mergedinto documents or output directly to an imaging device.The interface transfers all graphic and text attributes from Series 5to the PostScript publishing system. Enhanced graphic capabilities, suchas automatic mapping of color fills to tint patterns and selective line-join styles, are included. Flexible text handling features, including theability to reverse image text and download font definitions, are alsoincluded.Typographic annotation created within the illustration can be accuratelyreproduced on a PostScript-compatible imaging system utilizing Adobeinterface typeface width tables. Accurate width values for all typefaceswithin the Adobe Type Library can be loaded directly into the Series 5graphic system for use by the technical illustrator or graphic artistduring selection of annotation and callout functions within theapplication software.
